This new on-line/on-demand training course is for governments and their cashiers and/or supervisors committed to improving cashiering skills and operations. Based on PTI’s book, Highly Competent Cashiers and its long-standing training experience, this course was developed collaboratively with treasury and finance officials to allow participants to learn at their own pace and for governments to hold training when its most convenient for their employees and their department’s work schedule. The course covers learning objectives, expanded content, videos, exercises and assessments with varying host options.
Participants will receive in-depth instruction on best practices and techniques used to reduce loss and theft; increase accuracy and efficiency handling cash and non-cash transactions; improve customer service and incorporate greater internal controls. There are eight lessons taking approximately three hours.
